What is PTD-DBM?

PTD-DBM is one of the main ingredients in Hair Rescue: Activate.  It is a peptide that was specifically formulated to target factors that are upregulated in balding individuals.  PTD-DBM helps activate the Wnt/B-catenin pathway via inhibition of CXXC5.  This particular pathway has been shown to help rescue CHT induced hair follicle miniaturization.  CXXC-type zinc finger protein 5 (CXXC5) is a negative regulator of the Wnt/B-catenin pathway, which has been associated with hair restoration and wound healing.  Studies have shown that PTD-DBM is significantly more effective at inducing hair neogenesis when combined with Methyl Vanillate acid, which stimulates the Wnt/B-catenin pathway when applied topically.

What is Methyl Vanillate?

Methyl Vanillate is a chemical compound that helps increase hair count and hair mass index by inducing Wnt/B-catenin pathway signaling expression in the scalp.
